HSV Congratulates Rangers on 150th Birthday
In March 2022, Rangers Football Club - Also known as Glasgow Rangers - Will celebrate it's 150th Anniversary. HSV would like to congratulate its offical partner club on this occasion.
#YouAre150 - under this hashtag, HSV, like many other greats of international football, congratulates Rangers on their 150th birthday, which Rangers will celebrate with a big "Weekend of Legends" to be held on 26 March. At this event, HSV and Rangers legend Jörg "Ali" Albertz will be joined by HSV mascot Dino Hermann, who will represent HSV as a partner club of Rangers.
The Scottish Premiership club Rangers Football Club is internationally legendary - as is the friendship and partnership that has linked Rangers and HSV since the 1970s. That's how long the fans have maintained a close connection, which was also officially anchored in 2021: At the beginning of last year, HSV and Rangers entered into an official partnership, within the framework of which, among other things, various campaigns are implemented with and for fans, such as digital Fantalks. In the future, of course, mutual visits are planned again as soon as the Corona conditions permit.
Rangers Flags at Volksparkstadion
To mark the 150th anniversary, HSV will also be organising a wide range of activities, which have been set up by HSV itself, the Supporters Club, the Young Ones and also the Kids Club with Dino Hermann. These include, for example, Rangers flags flying around the Volksparkstadion.
Rangers party at the HSV Tankstelle fan pub tomorrow (Saturday)
The HSV Supporters Club invites all HSV fans to a Rangers party at the HSV fan pub Tankstelle tomorrow, Saturday 26 March (from 6pm), which will focus on the close Hamburg-Glasgow connection. As a special promotion to mark Rangers' 150th birthday, the first 150 litres of beer will be half price.
So for Rangers' birthday there is an all-round nice programme, after all this anniversary - Rangers are the first major European club to reach its 150th anniversary - is a very special one. And HSV would like to extend its warmest congratulations!
