Hamburg have allowed youth player Sören Bertram to go out on loan to second division side FC Augsburg  until 30.06.2011. Augsburg came close to promotion last season before falling at the final hurdle in the relegation game against 1.FC Nuremburg and are intent on building on last season's performances to push for promotion. "It is important for Sörens development that he gets games and it will be a great experience for him to play in a side pushing for promotion" explained Bastian Reinhardt. The midfielder moved to HSV in his youth, playing 21 times for the under-18 and 19 national teams. The 19 year old made two substitute appearances last season for the first team against Mainz and Hoffenheim.
