Hamburg - Improvisation was the order of the day on thursday monring with 14 internationals away on duty. Tennis and badminton were on the programm in the "Sportfeld Schenefeld". There was plenty of top class badminton played by co-trainer Michael Oenning, Frank Rost, Piotr Trochowski and Robert Tesche as well as goalkeeper trainer Ronny Teruber and 'keeper Tom Mickel while at the same time Zé Roberto was involved in an exciting south American tennis match wirh Paolo Guerrero, which ended in an easy win for the Brazilian. The games were watched over by the careful eye of Dennis Aogo's fitness coach Manfred Düring. "The call ups make it hard to do any real training with the ball, this is why we have developed this session" said Armin Veh. There is another alternative to ball worked planned for friday as well, with the players set to go through a strength and resistance session deep in the belly of the Imtech Arena. The players will then be given the weekend off to enjoy the weekend's internationals.
