Son: Operation a success

A pin has been placed in his broken foot. Return to Hamburg on Saturday.

Bad Schwartau/Hamburg -A small smile returned to the face of Heung Min Son as he received the news from foot specialist Dr. Kai Olms on Friday (06.08.10) that his operation to place a pin in his foot was a success. The youngster who let his emotions get the best of him on Thursday (05.08.10) had to stay overnight for check ups before returning to Hamburg.

"The next few days and weeks will see his movements heavily restricted, " said team doctor Dr.Oliver Dierk. The likeable Korean will have to be patient. " It will be at least six weeks before he can do any real training" continued Dierk.
