The association maintains ideological, political and religious neutrality and is committed to the free democratic basic order. It is committed to the principles of human rights. It actively opposes racist, anti-constitutional and xenophobic tendencies, as well as discriminatory or inhumane behaviour, in particular on the grounds of nationality, ethnic origin, religion, gender, age, sexual identity or disability.
Duties.
The fan representatives act as points of contact for all fans of Hamburger Sport-Verein, both during the professional team’s matches at the stadium and throughout the week.
They act as a direct link to the fan community and are in regular contact with fan organisations, fan clubs and individual supporters.
As the point of contact for fan-related matters of all kinds, they liaise with institutions, clubs and associations to convey and reinforce the fans’ views.
Preparing for, organising and supporting home and away matches in cooperation with stadium management, security staff, the visiting club and the police.
Supporting and managing the official fan clubs (including ticket orders and providing information to fan clubs via Facebook, Instagram and X)
Inclusion:
Events and projects (including OFC meetings and training camps)
Dialogue with the fan community via the “Fan and Committee Council”
Working groups and committees

Hamburger SV’s fan relations department has been in existence since 1993, and the official HSV fan clubs have been around since then too. Starting with 32 official fan clubs and one fan liaison officer, there are now over 2,700 registered official fan clubs, and the fan culture department now comprises seven staff members.
Membership numbers, average attendance, the fan base – everything at HSV has grown in size and scope. Whilst we still had an average attendance of 28,500 in 1995, over 50,000 fans now regularly attend our matches at the stadium, and up to 20,000 fans travel with HSV to away fixtures. 'Nur der HSV'!
