Lucas Perrin leaves HSV
The French centre-back, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Cercle Brugge, has joined Spanish second-division side Sporting Gijón with immediate effect.
Lucas Perrin’s transfer to Hamburger SV last summer marked his first move outside of France. After making six appearances in the first half of last season, including two games where he played the full 90 minutes, the 26-year-old then joined Belgian side Cercle Brugge on loan for the second half of the season. The centre-back has now signed for Spanish second-division side Sporting Gijón with immediate effect after the two clubs agreed a deal on Wednesday (2nd July). “We would like to thank Lucas Perrin for his time at HSV and wish him all the best for his new challenge in Spain,” said director of football Claus Costa.
