Muheim debuts for Switzerland
Miro Muheim made his international debut for Switzerland on Monday evening, as he was named in the starting line-up and featured for the full 90 minutes against Spain.
HSV's Miro Muheim was named in the starting line-up for Switzerland's final Nations League group stage fixture against Spain. It was also the 26-year-old's first cap for his country, as they ultimately fell to a 3-2 defeat. Muheim featured for the full 90 minutes. It was a childhood dream come true for Muheim, as he delivered a strong performance for the Nati. He will now return to Hamburg over the coming days, where he will certainly receive a warm welcome.
Muheim will be looking to continue his strong performances for his club, having provided seven assists in 12 games this season. He is yet to miss a minute for the Rothosen this term, earning his place on the left wing. Having now achieved one of his lifelong dreams, the focus for Muheim will return to accomplishing another goal of his: namely, winning promotion with HSV. The team will be back in action and in search of three more points to help them achieve this aim when they face FC Schalke 04 on Saturday evening.
