Nemeth returns to Hungary
Striker Andras Nemeth has left HSV on a permanent basis to join Puskás Akadémia FC in his home country of Hungary.
Hamburger SV have agreed to let Andras Nemeth leave the club on a permanent deal. The forward, who arrived at HSV in 2023 and spent last season on loan at SC Preußen Münster, will not return to the club upon the expiry of his loan. “Our joint conversations agreed that this is the best option for HSV and Andras,” explained director of football Claus Costa.
Nemeth will now return to his home country Hungary after making 42 appearances for HSV (2 goals, 1 assist) and playing 59 times in total in Bundesliga 2 (2 goals, 3 assists) for the Rothosen and Preußen Münster. The 22-year-old striker has transferred to Puskás Akadémia FC. “We wish Andras all the best for the future,” added Costa.
