“An important win at a tough ground”

Lewis Holtby: It was an important win at a tough ground. We know that we can always get a goal with the threat we have up front. You need to be strong and play compact and we did that today. We took our chances at the right times and defended well. We need this stability if we want to stay at the top of the league. That is a fact. The fact that we brought on players like Baka, Dave and Chris shows the competition in the squad and the quality we have. That is really important for the whole squad.

Khaled Narey: I badly misjudged the chance in the 40th minute but I managed to make amends so people will forget my miss. I was annoyed with myself but I tried to put the miss behind me. It was not easy to play here. The fans got really involved after the equaliser but we kept our cool and took our chances. It is a great feeling to win and maintain top spot.

Pierre-Michel Lasogga: It is great to have scored again especially in another win. We started well and put them under lots of pressure. We played especially well in the second half and we scored at the right times. I am really please for Baka to get his first goal. It was the icing on top of the cake. He deserved to get his first professional goal because he has trained really well in the past weeks and when he has come on in games.
