Bakery Jatta out for start of season with torn hamstring muscle

The Gambian injured himself late on during Saturday’s friendly win over Hertha Berlin.

Bakery Jatta will be missing from action for the next few weeks after injuring his hamstring five minutes from time on Saturday (5th September) against Hertha BSC. A scan on Monday revealed that the Gambian had torn a muscle in the adductor area of his right hamstring and will definitely be missing for the opening games in both the DFB Pokal versus Dresden (Monday 14th September, kick-off 6:30pm) and Bundesliga 2 against Fortuna Düsseldorf (Friday 18th September, kick-off 6:30pm). Get well soon, Baka!
