Bobby Wood moves to Hannover 96 on loan
The youngster from the USA will play for the Lower Saxony side next season.
Hamburger SV has loaned out forward Bobby Wood to Bundesliga outfit Hannover 96. The 25-year-old American, whose contract with die Rothosen runs until 30th June 2021, has signed a one year deal with Hannover. “Bobby Wood approached us with the request to seek a new sporting challenge. We responded by negotiating a loan deal and wish him all the best in Hannover”, explained sporting director Ralf Becker.
Wood first arrived in Hamburg in the summer of 2016 and has made 57 appearances for HSV, with twelve goals and two assists to his name.
