Captain Aaron Hunt out with injury

HSV will have to do without Aaron Hunt for three weeks. The captain of Die Rothosen suffered a strained hamstring during the Wednesday game against SV Sandhausen. Hunt has only recently come back from a muscle injury, which meant he missed the training camp in La Manga. Having recovered, he was introduced during the 69th minute of Wednesday’s home game. After picking up the injury, he has now been restricted to the sidelines for the next three weeks. “It’s not exactly the same injury as last time but he’ll be out for a little while. The new injury is a shame but the other players will help to fill his role,” said Ralf Becker shortly before the training ahead of the away game to Arminia Bielefeld.
