DFB-Pokal quarter-finals: HSV face SC Paderborn

The draw for the DFB-Pokal quarter-finals was held on Sunday evening in the German football museum in Dortmund. The Rothosen will travel to Westphalia to face SC Paderborn on the 2nd or 3rd April 2019.
“Unfortunately, we haven't been given a home tie. Paderborn are a very good 2. Bundesliga team. It will be a tough task, but we want to continue our cup adventure,” said HSV sporting director Ralf Becker after the draw was conducted.

Paderborn defeated FC Ingolstadt at home in the opening round (2-1) before getting past fifth tier side Chemie Leipzig away from home (3-0). In the round of 16, Paderborn secured a 3-1 win in Duisburg to confirm their place in the quarter-finals. The exact timings of the fixtures will be announced in due course.
