DFL announce details for matchdays 17-20: 3x Saturday matches and one on a Friday night

Fans can look forward to enjoying their live football at the usual time at the start of the new football year. Zu Beginn des neuen Fußballjahres dürfen sich die HSV-Fans auf Bundesliga-Spiele zur gewohnten Fußballzeit freuen. The DFL announce details for matchdays 17-20 this week ,and gave HSV three Saturday afternoon games and a Friday night fixture. Matchday 17 sees the Rothosen away from home as they make the relatively short trip to the VW Stadion, where Niedersachsen rivals VfL Wolfsburg await on Saturday January 21st 2017 (kick off 3.30 PM). Because of the belated start to the season that game marks the end of the opening half of the season. Markus Gisdol remain on their travels on matchday 18. This time a long trip south to Ingolstadt is on the schedule on Saturday January 28th 2017 (3.30 PM). The next game is enough to get the mouth of any fan watering, as Bayer Leverkusen visit the floodlit Volksparkstadion in Hamburg for a matchday 19 clash to be played on Friday February 3rd 2017 kicking off at 8.30 PM. Finally Markus Gisdol and his men travel east to lock horns with newly-promoted RB Leipzig. It will be only the second ever encounter between the two sides and will be played at the Leipziger Stadion on Saturday February 11 2017. That game kicks off at 3.30 PM.
