Nordderby on Sunday, city derby on Friday: DFL releases fixture times and dates
The DFL today confirmed the exact dates and times of matchdays 13 to 19 of the 2025/26 Bundesliga season. It’s been determined that HSV will play four of these fixtures at 15:30 CET on a Saturday. The remaining three scheduled games are against Werder Bremen (Sunday), Bayer 04 Leverkusen (Tuesday) and FC St. Pauli (Friday).
HSV’s schedule from matchday 13 to matchday 19 of the current Bundesliga season was confirmed by the German Football League (DFL) today (5th November). Four classic Bundesliga affairs at 15:30 on a Saturday are in the calendar: the Rothosen will host Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Mönchengladbach in the period, whilst trips to TSG Hoffenheim and SC Freiburg have also been confirmed for that timeslot.
Also set in stone today were two games that fans will be particularly eager to mark in their calendars: the Nordderby against SV Werder Bremen as well as the city derby against FC St. Pauli. The home game against Werder will take place on Sunday, 7th December, while the match away at St. Pauli has been confirmed for Friday, 23rd January 2026. HSV also have midweek action awaiting them in the new year, as they host Bayer 04 Leverkusen on Tuesday, 13th January 2026.
