Bayern on a Saturday night – DFL schedule matchdays 20 to 24

The German Football League (DFL) announced the detailed scheduling for matchdays 20 to 24 on Friday (19th December).

As part of matchday 20, HSV will welcome FC Bayern to the Volksparkstadion on Saturday, 31st January, with kick-off at 18:30 CET. As in the first half of the season, the showdown with the record champions has once again been selected as the primetime fixture of the round.

Exactly one week later, on 7th February, Hamburger SV travel to 1. FC Heidenheim for what will be the club’s historic 1,887th Bundesliga match. Kick-off is scheduled for the traditional Bundesliga time of 15:30 CET. The same kick-off time applies to the matchday 22 fixture against 1. FC Union Berlin, which will be played at the Volksparkstadion on 14th February.

After three consecutive Saturday matches, HSV will open matchday 23 with a Friday night game away at 1. FSV Mainz 05, kicking off at 20:30 CET. One week later, the Rothosen round off matchday 24 with a home game against RB Leipzig on Sunday evening, starting at 19:30 CET.
