Douglas Santos to miss Heidenheim clash

The Brazilian full back will be out for a few days after picking up a hamstring injury.

Douglas Santos was forced off through injury in the 60th minute of the recent home match against Dynamo Dresden, and was replaced by Josha Vagnoman. Speaking about the injury after training, coach Hannes Wolf declared: “We still don’t know for certain what kind of injury it is. There is no severe pain but the Heidenheim game on Saturday will be very tight.” Reports later that evening gave a further indication: the Brazilian has picked up a pulled hamstring and will be ruled out of Saturday’s fixture against Heidenheim. It is not yet known when Santos will return to training.
