Dynamo Dresden Fixture Rearranged for 18th September

The fixture between the two sides will take place on Tuesday 18th September at 18:30 CEST. HSV now have five matches in just 16 days.

HSV now know when the postponed away match at Dynamo Dresden will take place. The DFL announced on Wednesday that the tie will take place on Tuesday, 18th September at 18:30 CEST. For HSV, the announcement means that the team will have two consecutive weeks of midweek fixtures, resulting in five matches in the space of 16 days for the Rothosen. The Dresden fixture will be in between two home fixtures against 1. FC Heidenheim (15th Septmeber, 13:00 CEST) and Jahn Regensburg (23rd September, 13:30 CEST). In the following week, HSV travel to SpVgg Greuther Fürth in midweek (27th September, 20:30 CEST) before the Hamburg city derby at home to FC St. Pauli (30th September, 13:30 CEST). “We wanted to rearrange the match for as soon as possible and that will now happen. We hope to have strong support from our supporters even if the date and time isn’t the most fan friendly,” said sporting director Ralf Becker regarding the new match date.
