Filip Kostic goes on loan to Eintracht Frankfurt

The Serbian will play at the Bundesliga club for the next two seasons.

Hamburg have let midfielder Filip Kostic go out on loan to Eintracht Frankfurt. The 25-year-old Serbian, under contract at HSV until 2021, has signed a two-year deal with the current DFB-Pokal holders. After this Frankfurt also have the option to make the move permanent. Kostic had expressed his desire to the club to have a personal change and play Bundesliga football again, and the Hamburger SV board allowed the Serbia international to speak with over clubs. Kostic moved to the north coast in summer 2016, and made sixty-five appearances for the club, scoring nine goals and claiming six assists.
