HSV (almost) at full capacity

Three days until the Dresden game and HSV is at full capacity after the international break. Well, almost.

Hamburg’s international players returned to Hamburg on Wednesday (20th November), yet not all of them were able to take part in training straight away. Lukas Hinterseer (Austria) and Xavier Amaechi (England under-19) picked up thigh problems whilst away with their national sides and weren’t able to take part on Wednesday afternoon.

The rest of the squad enjoyed a more relaxed afternoon, with a strength and conditioning session followed by football tennis on one side, and crossing and finishing on the other. The players who have stayed behind at the Volkspark have used the break to recuperate and were clearly eager to impress on Saturday in front of 50,000 spectators on Saturday lunchtime against Dynamo Dresden. Two days of training remain, before the side aims to continue its strong current run of home form. A positive sign then, that almost everyone is back on board.
