HSV first team waive salary

One team, one word. After the HSV first team and coaching staff went to Head of Sport Jonas Boldt and made it clear right at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic that they were willing to help reduce the financial effects of the crisis on the club and its employees, the club’s hierarchy have now been able to come to a concrete agreement. “We wanted to discuss this important subject with the team once they had returned to training altogether. This was possible after the special exemption granted to us last Wednesday. We had a good conversation. I’m very happy that our team and coaching staff have a sense of responsibility and a feel for how they can help society as a whole,” said Boldt. Together with the team committee and the coaching staff, the executive board agreed on a mixture of collective salary reductions and waiving bonus payments.
