HSV have parted company with Christian Titz, Hannes Wolf to take over

The new coach will take his first training tomorrow.

HSV have parted company with their head coach. Ralf Becker and Bernd Hoffmann personally informed Christian Titz this morning that they would be relieving him of his duties with immediate effect. The board pointed to the recent performances.

“Part of our responsibility is to analyse the sporting situation the team is in. We feel that the team isn’t developing enough and we also feel that there was a risk that we wouldn’t reach our goals this season,” said Ralf Becker.

The new head coach, Hannes Wolf, will take over this afternoon. The 37-year-old coach, who won the 2. Bundesliga title with VfB Stuttgart in 2017, will take his first training session tomorrow.
