HSV start the season with a home game against Darmstadt 98

The fixture list for the 2019/20 season is out. HSV will start and end the season with a home game. The derbies against FC St. Pauli will take place on Matchdays 6 and 23.

The DFL released the fixture list for the 2. Bundesliga on Friday (12:00 CEST). Two relegated sides VfB Stuttgart and Hannover 96 will kick off the new season on Friday, 26th July (20:30 CEST). HSV will begin at home versus SV Darmstadt 98 (27-29 July) and will end the season against SV Sandhausen in Hamburg (17/5/20, 15:30 CEST). Dieter Hecking’s men will travel to 1. FC Nürnberg on MD2 (2-5 August), before facing VfL Bochum at home on MD3 (16-19 August).

The highly anticipated derby against FC St. Pauli will be on Matchday 6 at the Millerntor (13-16 September), with the return leg in the Volksparkstadion scheduled for Matchday 23 (21-24 February).
