International update: seven HSV players in action
A number of HSV internationals turned out to represent their respective countries this weekend, with some celebrating victories while others fell to defeats. Here is a quick overview of those Rothosen who took part in this weekend’s international action.
Those players turning out for their nation’s senior sides made their first appearances of the current international break, while talented youngsters Alexander Rössing-Lelesiit (Norway U19) and Fernando Dickes (Germany U19) played for the second time. Seven Rothosen took part in this weekend’s action, with varying results across the board.
Miro Muheim (Switzerland) and Luka Vuskovic (Croatia) had to watch their respective sides’ World Cup qualifiers from the bench, whereas Daniel Peretz (Israel) and Giorgi Gocholeishvili (Georgia) played the full 90 minutes. However, both ended up on the losing side. Neither Fabio Balde (Portugal U21) nor Fernando Dickes (Germany U19s) came on in their respective games, but Alexander Rössing-Lelesiit came on for 20 minutes towards the end of Norway U19s’ game against Armenia. The winger impressed in his first game, scoring a brace against Kosovo.
