Lukasz Poreba moves on loan to Elversberg
Hamburger SV’s 25-year-old Polish midfielder has joined second-division side SV Elversberg on loan for the 2025/26 season.
HSV midfielder Lukasz Poreba will spend the 2025/26 season on loan in the second division at SV Elversberg. “After the initial stages of pre-season, Lukasz informed us that he would like a new challenge for the upcoming season,” said director of football Claus Costa. “We agreed to his request and found a suitable solution for all parties with this loan move to SV Elversberg. We wish him all the best at SVE and a successful campaign in the second division.”
Lukasz Poreba initially joined HSV on loan from French top-flight side RC Lens for the 2023/24 season. The Polish midfielder, who helped out at centre-back towards the end of last season, then signed on a permanent basis in summer 2024. Overall, Poreba has played in 37 competitive games for the Rothosen, scoring three goals. “I’m looking forward to this opportunity and wish everyone at HSV all the best for their return to the Bundesliga.”
