Nicolas Capaldo suffers abdominal muscle injury

HSV are set to be without the midfielder for a few weeks after Capaldo picked up the injury in the home game against RB Leipzig.

Nicolas Capaldo suffered an abdominal muscle injury during yesterday's 2-1 defeat to RB Leipzig. The diagnosis was confirmed following an MRI at the Athleticum at the Volkspark on Monday (2nd March). The 27-year-old is therefore set to be sidelined for a few weeks, having started 19 of his 20 appearances in the Bundesliga for the Rothosen so far this season.

Capaldo was subbed off at the 20-minute mark against Leipzig due to the injury. Wishing you all the best for a speedy recovery, Capi!
