Walace moves to Hannover

HSV sell the 23-year-old Brazilian

Midfielder Walace and HSV have parted ways. HSV have sold the Brazilian to Bundesliga club Hannover 96. Ralf Becker finalised the deal with the club from Lower Saxony. “We wish Walace all the best at his new club,” says the sporting director. Both clubs have agreed to keep the details about the transfer private.

The 23-year-old moved to Hamburg from Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense in Brazil in January 2017 and made nine appearances for the Rothosen in the 2016-17 season, scoring one goal. He also made two appearances in the DFB-Pokal. He made a total of 18 appearances in his second Bundesliga season at HSV, scoring two goals and making two assists.
