Omari completed his medical at the UKE Athleticum yesterday (6th August) and then signed his contract at the Volksparkstadion.
“Warmed is a player that has already picked up lots of experience in Ligue 1 and in European competition. He also has the potential to improve even more – we want to help him fulfil that potential together,” commented board member for sport Stefan Kuntz.
“Warmed is a modern centre-back with interesting attributes. He’s quick, has a good technique and is comfortable with the ball at his feet as well. He’s an intelligent and brave defender. His qualities will make our defence more versatile. Despite not featuring too much last season, we believe in Warmed’s qualities and are delighted that he’s joined the club,” added director of football Claus Costa.
