Yussuf Poulsen suffers ankle injury
HSV’s captain suffered a syndesmosis injury in his left ankle during training and will be out for several weeks.
Tough news for HSV and skipper Yussuf Poulsen: The 31-year-old awkwardly twisted his ankle off the ball during Thursday morning’s training session (18th December). His ankle was scanned straight away, with tests revealing that he suffered an injury to the syndesmosis ligament in his left ankle. The Dane will not require surgery, but will be unavailable for the Rothosen for several weeks.
