HSV is offering free social tickets for the men’s and women’s Bundesliga home matches. Full details on how to apply and how tickets are allocated.
For many people, an HSV home match with its outstanding atmosphere is a deeply emotional experience. Unfortunately, not everyone can afford to attend live at the Volksparkstadion. Therefore, Hamburger SV will continue to provide free social tickets for every Bundesliga home match in the new 2026/27 season. This offer also applies to the HSV women’s home matches.
You can find all the information about social tickets and who is allowed to apply below in the FAQs at the bottom of this page.
Important: Single persons can apply via Hamburger culture key.
Social tickets are free tickets that Hamburger SV is providing for every Bundesliga home match during the 2026/27 season.
Social tickets are available to people in the Hamburg metropolitan area who are in need of support. There is an application form for organisations that provide care or support for these people. People who are not part of an organisation can apply via the Hamburger culture key.
The boundaries of the Hamburg metropolitan area can be seen in the diagram below or on this website.
Organisations that provide care or support for minors or adults in need of assistance from the Hamburg metropolitan region, and which pursue exclusively and directly charitable or benevolent aims.
Organisations or institutions that engage in social work within the public sector.
The Hamburg culture key connects volunteers with people who would like to attend cultural or sporting events but need support. The aim is to establish culture and sport as a key to social participation and to facilitate encounters between people of different generations and cultures.
HSV supports this initiative and is making a number of tickets available through the culture key programme. From now on, registered culture enthusiasts can apply for HSV tickets via the Hamburg culture key programme.
How it works:
Registration for the Hamburg culture key
Initial interview to clarify individual support needs
Monthly overview of bookable events, including HSV matches
Registration via the culture key website
Taking special requirements into account (e.g. wheelchair spaces)
Social tickets may be offered to culture lovers who...
receive unemployment benefit II/citizen’s income,
receive income support,
receive basic income support (for example, pensioners or people with disabilities),
receive assistance under the Asylum Seekers Act, or
are homeless,
as well as to children who (or whose parents) meet one of the above criteria.

Yes, you can apply for any home match and you can apply for several matches at the same time. However, people who are already receiving social tickets this season are not permitted to apply.
Organisations must specify the number of eligible individuals and any accompanying persons who wish to attend a home match.
Yes, the following seats with special services can be requested via the form:
Seats for fans in wheelchairs: One accompanying person is granted free admission per wheelchair seat.

Once the application deadline has expired, we will review all ticket requests received. If the number of requests exceeds the number of tickets available for the match, places will be allocated by lottery.
We will inform you by email no later than two weeks before the relevant match as to whether your ticket request has been successful. We would ask you to refrain from enquiring about the status of your request until then.
Tickets will be handed out exclusively by the respective organisation that applied. The tickets will be made available digitally in advance. Individuals will receive their ticket directly via the Hamburg culture key.
