A CITY TOUR THAT COMBINES HAMBURG’S HIGHLIGHTS WITH THE HISTORY OF HSV.
The new HSV city tour leads through the Hanseatic city and combines the history of Hamburger SV with the most famous sights. The starting point is at the Hamburg Landungsbrücken, the “Gateway to the World.” From there, the tour continues aboard the HSV women’s team bus via the Reeperbahn toward the Grand Elysée, HSV’s team hotel.
From the hotel, a historical walking tour begins, passing HSV’s first home ground and its former clubhouse. Experienced tour guides share formative moments and historical events that took place around the club at Rothenbaum.
After the historical tour, the group returns by bus to the Volksparkstadion. There, a stadium tour offers insights into HSV’s home ground, followed by a visit to the HSV Museum. Among other things, this shows how the Rothosen (Red Shorts) celebrated their successes with their fans, including their championship titles and the 1983 European Cup victory.
With this city tour, Hamburger SV offers a unique combination of city sightseeing and club history.
New dates will be released gradually as the schedule for the men’s and women’s home matches is confirmed.
