Starting now, HSV offers a special stadium experience for everyone interested: a stadium tour that explores the development and significance of women’s football.
In this, the first tour of its kind at club level in Germany, participants spend around 90 minutes immersing themselves in the history of women’s football in Germany and at HSV. The tour combines exciting historical events with unique locations within the Volksparkstadion, since the HSV women’s team has also been playing in the club’s home ground since the 2025/26 season.
The tour begins at the HSV Museum. There, participants learn how women’s football emerged in England as early as the late 19th century, was mocked and even banned for a long time, but ultimately gained acceptance step by step. The development of women’s football at HSV is also explored – from its founding, through its withdrawal from the Bundesliga, to its sporting successes.
The tour then continues through the Volksparkstadion, starting at the North Stand and continuing to the edge of the pitch. Along the way, the guide shares insights into the HSV women’s team’s current season and exciting facts about the players.
This tour combines the stadium experience, club history, and the development and importance of women’s football in a unique tour for all HSV fans and football enthusiasts.
