Sustainability is the driving force behind further developing internal processes, linking sporting success with social responsibility and shaping the future. This page provides an insight into the initiatives and activities already implemented across the four areas of sustainability: home port, environment, workplace and und playing rules.
These include, for example, the ‘Ankerplatz’ as a point of contact for those affected by discrimination at home matches, the use of certifications such as the ‘Grüner Knopf’ on selected fan shop items, participation in the ‘Hamburg räumt auf!’ campaign and membership to the United Nations Global Compact.

Eric Huwer, member of the Executive Board of HSV Fußball Management AG and Henrik Köncke, President of Hamburger Sport-Verein e.V., express their views in the foreword to the HSV Sustainability Report 2024/25 on the subject of sustainability at HSV and the relevant extracts from the respective articles of association.
