DFL schedules match days 22 to 27: Nordderby on Sunday!
The Nordderby home game against Werder Bremen will take place on Sunday, 27 February, otherwise HSV will have to play exclusively on Sundays on match days 22 to 27.
The German Football League (DFL) announced the exact schedules for the 2. Bundesliga match days 22 to 27 on Friday. HSV will have to play five of these six games (home games against 1. FC Heidenheim and FC Erzgebirge Aue, plus away games at Sandhausen, Nürnberg and Düsseldorf) on Saturdays. Only the North derby against Werder Bremen will take place on a Sunday (27 February 2022, 1.30 pm at Volksparkstadion).
The Rothosen are not represented in the evening matches on Fridays at this stage, but the traditional duel at 1 FC Nürmberg on 5 March 2022 is the top match of the 25th matchday from the point of view of the DFL planners and will kick off at 20:30 (CEST). accordingly.
