Hadzikadunic ruled out for the rest of the season
The 26-year-old central-back suffered knee and ankle injuries against Darmstadt and will miss the club’s final two matches.
Hamburger SV will be without centre-back Dennis Hadzikadunic for the remainder of season. Scans at the UKE Athleticum on Monday (5th May) confirmed that the 26-year-old Bosnian suffered a partial ankle ligament tear and a partial MCL tear in his right knee during Saturday’s away win at SV Darmstadt 98. Hadzikadunic, currently on loan at HSV, has made 25 appearances (1 goal) during his second season with the Rothosen, but will play no part in the final 2. Bundesliga matches of 2024/25 against Ulm and Fürth.
