HSV heads to winter training camp in Sotogrande
The Red Shorts start their preparations for the second half of the season on 2 January. From 11 to 19 January, they will go to a training camp in Spain.
After the last HSV professionals, such as Bakery Jatta and Moritz Heyer, who had to work extra shifts at Volkspark due to their individual development work after their injuries, have been released for the well-deserved winter break, the planning for the preparation for the second half of the season, which starts on 29 January with the home match against Eintracht Braunschweig (free advance booking), is in full swing.
One of the most important cornerstones has now been set: HSV will move into its training camp in Sotogrande from 11 to 19 January. As last winter, the foundation for the remaining 17 days of the season will be laid in the southern Spanish region of Cadiz. The training grounds of the "Santa Maria Polo Club Sotogrande" offer ideal conditions for this, as the Rothosen already experienced at the beginning of January this year.
Two test matches are also scheduled to take place during the training camp. However, the opponents and dates have not yet been fixed. The first training session of the new year will take place on 2 January at Volkspark. Until then, the professionals can recharge their batteries with their individual training plans during their holidays.
