HSV players begin preparations for 2025/26 season

The Rothosen’s summer break officially came to an end on Monday. HSV’s players started their two-day pre-season testing ahead of the new campaign.

The boys are finally back in town! On Monday (30th June), after securing promotion to the Bundesliga, HSV kicked off their preparations for the new season with the mandatory medical and fitness tests at the UKE Athleticum and the Alexander-Otto-Akademie.

New signing Jordan Torunarigha (pictured) was also present, and, like all the players, he was divided into groups and went through various stations, completing exercises and tests in endurance, speed, and strength. Additionally, all players will undergo a thorough health check. These tests will continue on Tuesday, before the first training session begins on Wednesday at 14:00 CEST on the training pitches next to the Volksparkstadion.
