HSV quartet called up for internationals
With Faride Alidou, Anssi Suhonen and Mario Vuskovic, three Rothosen professionals have been called up for the upcoming international break. Juho Kilo from the U21 team is also travelling.
During the upcoming international break, (at least) three Rothosen professionals and one U21 player will be on the road with their national teams. Mario Vuskovic, has been called up for the Croatian U21 team for the European Championship qualifiers against Estonia on 11 November in Pula and against Austria on 16 November in Ried-Innkreis. Anssi Suhonen is in the line-up of the Finnish national team for the qualifying matches against Norway (12 November) and Estonia (15 November). U21 player Juho Kilo is also in the 23-man Finnish squad.
Faride Alidou was called up for the first time for the German U20 national team after his performances with the professionals. DFB coach Christian Wörns nominated the HSV homegrown for the matches against France on 11 November in Clairefontaine and against Portugal on 15 November in Leiria.
In addition, Mikkel Kaufman is a back up for the Danish U21s. England and the Netherlands will announce their final squads next Friday (5 November). Tommy Doyle and Ludovit Reis could therefore also be added to gain further international experience.
