Laszlo Benes fällt mit Muskelfaserriss aus
The 25-year-old Slovakian injured himself in the away match at Sandhausen and will miss the two relegation matches.
It was the 17th minute of the HSV away match at SV Sandhausen (28 May, 1:0) when Laszlo Benes injured himself while attempting to shoot. Now it is clear: the Slovakian has torn a muscle fibre in his thigh. This was the result of an MRI examination yesterday (Tuesday, 30 May).
This means that head coach Tim Walter will be without a valuable option for the two Play-Off matches against VfB Stuttgart (first leg: 1 June, second leg: 5 June). In the past second division season, the attacking midfielder played in 33 of a possible 34 games and contributed 15 scorer points (six goals, nine assists). Unfortunately, further highlights will not be added in this extended season. HSV wishes him a speedy recovery and a speedy return to the pitch.
