Dates confirmed for matchdays 19-21
The DFL have confirmed the dates and times of the first three matchdays for the 2. Bundesliga in 2020. HSV have a game each on Thursday, Saturday and Monday night.
On Thursday morning (7th November) the Deutsche Fußball-Liga (DFL) published the exact dates and times for the matchdays 19-21 in the German second division, confirming that Hamburger SV will start 2020 off with two highlight fixtures. The Rothosen have the honour of ending the 19th matchday on Thursday 30th January, with a live TV fixture against 1. FC Nürnberg at the Volksparkstadion, with kick-off at 8:30pm. Dieter Hecking’s charges will then have the honour of closing out matchday 20 as well, with another live TV fixture on the following Monday (3rd February), this time away at VfL Bochum, kick-off again at 8:30pm. The Rothosen then return to Saturday afternoon action for the second home fixture of the new calendar year against Karlsruher SC, kicking off at 1:00pm on Saturday 8th February at the Volksparkstadion.
