"This is the only thing we can influence".
In the press conference before the home match against Hannover 96, HSV Head Coach Tim Walter spoke about the mood in the team, the strenghts of the opponnets and the final spurt in the 2. Bundesliga.
Three league victories in a row, no personnel bottlenecks and an almost sold-out Volksparkstadion: The blue-white-black prerequisites before the home match against Hannover 96 could definitely be worse, accordingly HSV head coach Tim Walter is also full of optimism about the northern duel next Saturday (7 May, kick-off: 1.30 pm). The Lower Saxons, however, are travelling to the match with the tailwind of their successful survival and showed in the first leg (1:0) that they can be a stumbling block. In today's press conference, the HSV coach explained how he and his team intend to overcome this obstacle and what the 46-year-old's plan is for the final spurt.
Tim Walter spoke in detail about...
... the mood in the team: "The boys are feeling - just like me - a great sense of anticipation, we are full of drive and energy. Of course, we also inform ourselves about the other relevant results, but it is important that we stay with ourselves and do our thing. That's the only thing we can influence.
"The boys are pushed forward by the unconditional support of the fans" Tim Walter
... Hannover's strengths: Similar to the first leg, we will probably face a rather wait-and-see opponent, who will certainly press in certain situations. We can also expect a lot of long balls and crosses, especially since they have a good striker in Hendrik Weydandt. But we are prepared for that, in the end we have to remain effective in the offensive and score goals.
... the support of the fans: You can see that the boys are incredibly pushed forward by the unconditional support of the fans. That's why we are full of anticipation, it's just great. We really enjoy the support.
