Tom Sanne joins Wacker Burghausen
After loan spells with Hannover 96 II and FC Dordrecht, the Hamburg-born striker has now made a permanent move to Bavaria.
Tom Sanne has completed a transfer to Regionalliga side SV Wacker Burghausen. The striker spent the first half of last season on loan with Hannover 96 reserves in the 3. Liga, before joining Dutch second-tier outfit FC Dordrecht for the second half of the campaign.
The 21-year-old’s journey with HSV began in summer 2021 after arriving from FC St. Pauli’s youth setup. He initially spent two years with the U19s, then another two years playing for the U21s, making his case for the first team and finishing the 2023/24 Regionalliga Nord season as the top scorer with 24 goals. He marked his debut in the 2. Bundesliga by scoring a header just one minute after being subbed on against 1. FC Magdeburg, one of two senior appearances for the Rothosen. Sanne signed his first professional contract with the club in July 2023.
HSV would like to wish Tom all the best for the future and thank him for his contributions to the club.
