USA trip: HSV to play Venutra County Fusion

The match against the club from the USL second divsion will take place on 18th November as part of the Rothosen's trip to the USA

HSV has fixed another friendly match as part of its trip to the USA. On 18 November, the Red Shorts will meet the Ventura County Fusion Soccer Club. The team is currently playing in the USL League Two and is the second opponent after the Orange County Soccer Club that the Hamburgers will meet during their stay in California. The match will take place at the Ventura College Sportsplex in Ventura. Kick-off is at 7 pm local time (4 am CET).

HSV will travel to the USA for the first time in 22 years after the last first-round match against SV Sandhausen (12 November, kick-off: 1 p.m.) from 13 to 22 November to take advantage of the attractive opportunity to represent HSV and German football, to make the raute visible internationally, to learn from US sport and to strengthen their own team and sense of unity. The Hamburg team can already look back on a tradition of eight trips to the United States. And this tour, which is themed "HSV Route 87" after the year of the club's founding, will also offer unique events for all participants.

In addition to their own two test matches, the Red Shorts will visit three sporting highlights: the LA Lakers basketball game, the UCLA Bruins NCAA college football match and the NFL top game between the LA Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs. The fans travelling with the team can look forward to a "Fan Day", a "Fan Game" and a "Fan Night", which will focus on a joint exchange between supporters and professionals.

The HSV delegation, including the team, will be accommodated for the entire duration of the trip in the city of Anaheim in Orange County, California, approximately 40 kilometres southeast of Los Angeles, and will travel from there to various locations in California, particularly in the L.A. area.
