"We try to focus on ourselves"
Before the away match at FC Ingolstadt, HSV coach Tim Walter answered questions not only from media representatives but also from schoolchildren in a press conference as part of the Future Day.
At the beginning of the press conference before HSV's away match at FC Ingolstadt (30 April, live on HSVnetradio from 1.15 p.m.), Tim Walter had to face some questions from pupils who were allowed to attend the event at HSV as part of the Future Day. The head coach of the Red Shirts revealed, among other things, that although he was a good goal scorer in his playing days, he was not so keen on running himself. He also explained the variability of HSV's play, why he often plays short corners and what he likes to do in his free time as a balance to football. Afterwards, Tim Walter told the media representatives about ...
... the opponent: "When you play football, you always want to win. Ingolstadt is like that, too. Even though they have already been relegated, they still have a team that plays in the 2nd Division and has its justification. Perhaps they haven't always had the luck to play. They have very good individual players and, like all the other teams, will give 100 per cent against HSV. We know that they have quality.
... the expected game: I can't influence the approach of the opponent, but only our way of playing. We also showed last week that we can be grabby and nasty. Everyone is trying to come up with a plan against us. We have to see that our game plan is even better, so we are just looking at ourselves.
„We also showed last week that we can be tough and nasty..“
... a use of Robert Glatzel: "We are in exchange with the medical department and with him. Ultimately, I will decide whether he will play and whether I think he is fit enough or not. But at the moment it looks good.
... possible looks at the table: We look at other results, of course. But we try to focus on ourselves and win our games. That's been the case for the whole season and we'll continue on that path.
