DFL schedules 2.Bundesliga matchdays 3 to 9
The DFL has scheduled further second division matchdays for the first third of the 2022/23 season. HSV will play three of the top matches on Saturday.
The German Football League (DFL) has scheduled the second division match days 3 to 9 today (Friday noon, 01 July). After the two Sunday games in Braunschweig and against Rostock, HSV will continue the season on matchday 3 with a Saturday home game (6 August, kick-off at 13.00) against 1. FC Heidenheim. At the same time, HSV will travel to the Bielefeld Alm one week later for an away match against DSC Arminia Bielefeld as part of the 4th matchday of the second division. On Matchday 5, the Reds then host the Lilien from Darmstadt on Friday evening (kick-off 6.30 p.m.) before playing the top game on Saturday evening at 8.30 p.m. on three of the next four matchdays: away at 1. FC Nürnberg (Matchday 6, 27 August) and twice at home against Karlsruher SC (Matchday 7, 3 September) and Fortuna Düsseldorf (Matchday 9, 17 September). In addition, the Walter protégés are guests of KSC on Friday evening (9 September) on the Kieler Förde as part of Matchday 8.
