Heuer Fernandes still out

HSV keeper Daniel Heuer Fernandes, who suffered a knee injury in the DFB Pokal match against 1. FC Nürnberg at the end of October, must continue to patient with regards to his comeback. A new MRI examination revealed that the rear capsule in the back of the knee has not yet healed completely. As a result, the 29-year-old is not yet able to use his knee 100 per cent and will continue to train individually for the time being. This decision was taken by the club and the players in unison, as they do not want to run the risk of damaging the knee in the long term. "Ferro" is therefore expected to miss a few weeks.
