HSV to take part in training camp in Kitzbühel

HSV are returning to Austria once again for their summer pre-season. The training camp will take place in Kitzbühel from 6th until 15th July. Pre-season has been planned to take place in the small town in Tyrol, famed for winter sports and the Hahnenkamm Ski Races in particular, every year since 2019. Due to participation in the relegation play-off and correspondingly a late end to the season, it is only now possible to confirm this year’s dates for certain.

Tim Walter’s side will be staying at the Kitzhof in Kitzbühel. Training will take place around 10km away in nearby St. Johann. Two friendlies are planned for during the training camp. The opponents and exact locations of these games is yet to be announced. In all likelihood, however, they will not take place in St. Johann.

HSV’s pre-season begins this Wednesday (28th June) with compulsory fitness tests. On Friday (30th June), the team will then be training on the pitch alongside the Volksparkstadion for the first time.
