Nine HSV players reporting for international duty
HSV currently have nine first team players in action for their countries during the ongoing international break. Read more to find out all the information regarding the Rothosen’s call-ups and their upcoming fixtures.
Coach Tim Walter allowed his team to take the day off on Monday as a reward for their hard work in the intense clash against FC Hansa Rostock that earned them a 2-0 victory at home. However, the team returned to the training pitch on Tuesday to get back into their routine: “We want to continue to work hard and maintain this winning momentum”, shared the coach in the pre-match press conference two days prior to the Rostock fixture.
This mindset will also prove vital throughout the international break, where Walter will have fewer players involved in his training sessions due to nine of them receiving international call-ups. HSV.de have provided a summary.
