"We feel the great support"
In the press conference before the away match at SSV Jahn Regensburg, HSV coach Tim Walter spoke about the changed conditions of this duel as well as the situation of the league before the 32nd matchday.
Ahead of the away match at SSV Jahn Regensburg (14 May, from 1.15 p.m. on HSVnetradio), HSV coach Tim Walter spoke in the press conference about the current situation, his team and, of course, the opponent, who parted company with their long-time coach Mersad Selimbegovic this week and has already presented a successor in Joe Enochs. The Hamburg coach explained on Friday afternoon how he wants to approach this match and what role the coaching change plays at Jahn. Tim Walter spoke to the journalists about...
... the upcoming opponent: "A difficult game awaits us. But it's not decisive for us that Regensburg are playing with a new coach. We have done our analytical work and know what to expect on Sunday because of the previous Regensburg games and the way Joe Enochs has played at his previous stations. We expect them to defend very compactly and operate with a lot of long balls.
"Confidence is a very important factor"
... the too many goals conceded in the past games: We made too many mistakes recently. That can happen, but we have clearly addressed these mistakes, analysed them and are working hard to eliminate them. For me, confidence is a very important factor here, because I know that my players are doing everything they can to develop and get better.
... the situation in the league: We have a very good community and feel the support of the club, the fans and the people of this city. That's why we are absolutely positive going into the last games, where we will put full focus on each one and put all our energy into it. We are concentrating fully on ourselves and our tasks, because we cannot influence the results of the other teams.
