Hamburg & Shanghai - a true partnership

Thriving harbour areas, red cranes, huge container ships; since 1986 Hamburg and Shanghai have been part of a close partnership. The binding element between these two cities geographically on the opposite sides of the globe: the port.

'China Time' and 'Hamburg Summit' perfectly reflect the collaboration. At these events, representatives from the economy and politics meet to continually improve the economic relationship and understanding on both sides. Football is the new emotional and social connection between the two cities.
